Blog Post #2

I went to the only high school in my small, farm working town. We were barely implementing AICE and dual enrollment classes. However, one teacher tried her hardest to keeping the funding for her course. She taught the Computing College and Careers class which helped students learn basic software to help them later on if life. For example, she exposed so to use and become certified in Microsoft Word, Power point, Excel, and Photoshop. Through this course I learned everything Microsoft Word had to offer and applied these skills on various fake documents. My teacher was very skilled and knew her way around various software. Everyone was greatly hurt to hear that she had passed away that same school year.

I do not have much experience with copyright and fair use. I had to learn these terms and be able to distinguish between the two in order to receive my Photoshop Certification. But I didn't go into depth with the two. In order to deal with these concepts as a teacher I must first become more familiar with the two in order to inform my future students and protect them from simple mistakes.
